Product Information & Handmade Nature

All Sirens Thread jewellery pieces are handmade on the Gold Coast, Australia. Because of this, slight variations in colour, bead placement, and charm detailing may occur. These variations are a normal part of handmade craftsmanship and contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.

We use materials such as glass beads, steel chains, pearls, and painted linking beads. While we aim to create durable jewellery suitable for everyday wear, our pieces are delicate and require proper care.

Care & Durability

To protect the longevity and appearance of your jewellery, please follow the care guidelines below:

Keep jewellery away from water

Jewellery must not be worn in water, including:

showers
swimming pools
the ocean
spas
while washing hands

Exposure to water may cause:

paint on linking beads to fade
metal components to weaken or tarnish
chains to lose durability
elastic or threading to stretch or degrade

Customers are responsible for avoiding water exposure. Damage caused by water is not covered under refunds or exchanges.

Avoid harsh conditions

Please avoid exposing your jewellery to:

perfume
lotions
sunscreen
hair products
excessive sweating
rough handling or high-impact activity

These conditions may reduce the lifespan of charms, paint, and metal components.

Storage

Store jewellery in a dry, cool place away from sunlight. Keeping pieces in a soft pouch or jewellery box helps prevent tangling, scratching, and fading.

Returns & Exchanges

Because each piece is handmade, we accept returns or exchanges only under specific conditions:

The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.
Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving the item.
Damage caused by improper care (including exposure to water) is not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.

If you believe your item arrived faulty, please contact us with photos so we can assess the issue.

Shipping

Delivery times may vary based on location and postal services. Sirens Thread is not responsible for delays caused by external factors such as postal disruptions, weather events, or peak shipping periods.

Once an order has been shipped, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the postal service.

Story Cards & Branding

Each jewellery piece includes a handwritten story card explaining the inspiration behind the design. These story cards are artistic additions and are not intended as product guarantees.
